To whom it may concern,

I wish to apply for the role of a TEFL teaching position.

I have over five years’ experience in tutoring the English Language and various other subjects to a younger child of different language (Xhosa) and culture to my own, and I believe the knowledge and skills built up during this time make me the perfect candidate for this position. I am passionate about helping others to learn.

I have recently completed my senior school education (Matriculation) in South Africa and followed this with a TEFLFULLCIRCLE 160-hour course. This certification I believe has broadened my perspective of what is expected of a TEFL teacher tremendously and instilled an enthusiasm for teaching English at L2 level. It is an exciting prospect for me and I am eager to apply my newly learnt skills.

I am confident that this enthusiasm and previous experience will assist in achieving a high level of success with your learners’ acquisition of an acceptable level of proficiency of the English language according to age and advancement.
